The title of this book is a bit of a misnomer - it is a novelette in so far as book size and "A Short Story" refers to Ryan's Life cut shorter than normal life expectancies would portend. Hence, the study of his life and whether or not deemed A Lasting Legacy - as depends on who is doing the measuring one supposes!!!

Book 3 in the "Joseph M Lenard life and living series" of books, but note "series" in this case is loosely defined as all books in the series about life and living with different main/lead characters and story-telling style written.

This book is written in narrative style with no dialog until the ending chapter in the form of monologues and primary focus is Ryan's Journal Entries to tell the tale.
